The Test and Training Set (TTS) is used to test control cubicles for Nu-Lec pole mounted circuit breakers and load break switches. The TTS can also be substituted for actual switchgear in a
training session making such sessions easier to transport and conduct.
The TTS comprises two cables and a suitcase incorporating a switchgear simulator and interposing current transformers (CTs) to permit current injection into the control cubicle under
test.
The TTS incorporates terminals that provide open / close status of the simulator. These can be used for timing tests using an external timer.
Features
Two modes of connection to the control cubicle are possible.
- Stand alone mode where the TTS is connected to the control cubicle in place of the
switchgear. - Parallel operation mode where both the TTS and the switchgear are connected to the control
cubicle.
